Every month in 2019, Lärmschutz invites a fellow like-minded artist for a split release on Faux Amis records.

For the november installment, Mauro Pawlowski shows his versatility with songs from all kinds of inspirational places. It's all over the place, in a good way, that really makes you want to run around the map with him. Mauro on this tape is the kind of guy you just endlessly want to discuss the niches of you record collection with. If this tape is in that collection though, you already have all sorts of genres covered.


For side B, Lärmschutz also responds in a diverse way, actually playing songs (sort of) for the first time ever. The aim here was to take the song based approach of Mauro and intertwine it with the improvisations that Lärmschutz love to do. It came down to one of the three musician writing a song, a beat, a riff, and the rest just played along without any pre-listening or preparation time. It was a joy to work this way.
